Our story
Shiv Impex Pty Ltd was founded to do one thing well: bring genuine pantry brands onto Australian shelves without the friction.
The category is full of importers who push volume and brokers who push paper. We work differently. Long-horizon relationships with a small number of trusted producers, retail-grade compliance, and the operational discipline to land product on time, on spec, every time.
Today, we serve Australia’s largest independent grocery wholesaler with twenty active SKUs across spices, rice, snacks and condiments. The roadmap is broader: major-chain grocery, ethnic retail and foodservice; and broader product, beyond our current categories. The operating principle stays the same. A partner you can plan around.
Our producer network
We follow the producer, not the postcode.
Geography-agnostic by design. Working with manufacturers in regions where the category history runs deep, the certifications hold up, and the audit trail is real.
We visit. We audit. We hold lots back when something isn’t right. The relationships are old and the standards are non-negotiable.

Honesty in sourcing
No invented offices, no overclaimed certifications, no opaque supplier chains. If we can’t say where it’s made, we don’t sell it.
Retail-grade compliance
FSANZ labelling, HACCP-audited producers, lot-level traceability. The standards we hold are the standards a category manager writes into a contract.
Long-horizon relationships
We pick producers we can work with for ten years. We pick retailers we can support for ten years. Everything else follows.
